Mezcal Mezul is tailored for an audience that is culturally diverse, creative, adventurous, and inquisitive, particularly those who are new to the spirit. They have meticulously developed and tested a blend in collaboration with esteemed mixologists, to deliver a smoother taste experience for consumers, making it the ideal mezcal for crafting exquisite cocktails.
Their Blue Weber mezcal brings a sweet and mellow flavour that complements the robust earthy notes of roasted agave from our more traditional blend of Espadín mezcal from Oaxaca. This blend is the perfect introduction to mezcal: smooth and unique to have by itself but also perfect for a fresh cocktail.
Our Mezcal
Mezcal Mezul selects ripe agaves aged between 8-10 years from Oaxaca and Zacatecas. Each agave is cut, grounded, and baked underneath rich mountain soil for five days. It is then fermented in wood vats for about a week before being distilled twice in copper stills.
Mezcal Mezul is made of a blend of Espadín agave grown in Oaxaca and Blue Weber agave from Zacatecas that are grown for at least 8 years and handpicked by jimadores. Our Espadín blend is cooked in stone ovens for 7 days, grinded by stone and fermented in wooden tubs with well water for 4 days before being sent to distill. Our blend of Blue Weber is cooked in autoclaves, grinded in mills, fermented with treated water and doubled distilled in stainless steel stills. The Mezul family wants to share a tradition we are passionate about with the rest of our friends from all over the globe while also making a social impact and giving back to Earth by supporting environmental organizations.
