Our Story
Yoshino Spirits, headquartered in Osaka, Japan is specialized in the distribution of all premium Japanese; liquors, whiskies, wines and else spirits worldwide. Their U.S. business is driven by the cedar-cask finished line of Kamiki Whiskies, Minoki coral-filtered rum, Umiki Ocean-fused, Pine-aged whisky and new American Spirits.
Our Unique Product
Yoshino Sugi, most commonly known in English as the “Japanese Cedar” is indigenous to Japan. For centuries it is being used to make temples. Japanese Cedar is also known for its pleasant fragrance and soft texture that help calm the mind and the body.
Yoshino Sugi is considered to be the best wood for making local drink casks because of its scented refreshing flavor and wooden aroma. The Kamiki blend is rested for a second time in Yoshino Sugi casks to capture a perfectly smooth taste, a scent of sandalwood on the nose and a zest of green tea in the finish. This second maturation makes their whisky unique.
Their distillery, Kamiki Shuzou Co. is situated in the serene Soni Village of Nara, a region rich with the early history of Japan. Elevated in the landscape likened to Yoshino Mountains, their distillery is a sanctuary for creating whiskey, nurtered by the peace of its surroundings.
Our Whiskey
Perfectly balanced with heather honey, sweet caramel, Japanese plum, balanced oak, peat and toffee with hints of sandalwood and green tea. Non chill-filtered at 48% alcohol to keep its natural flavors at maximum. Blended at its peak flavor, rather than a predetermined ratio. As a result, each batch is unique and limited with stocks.
We wanted to celebrate the timeless alcohol tradition of the region by blending a Japanese style whisky that harmonizes Japanese nature and artisanship.
We choose rare Japanese malt whiskies, finest malt whiskies from the rest of the world and fuse this unique blend with the highest quality pure spring water from Japan.
Our Products
Kamiki Whiskey – Sandalwood aromas are robust and exhilerating on the nose. The cedar cas influence is immediately apparent in the mounth, filling the palate with spicy wood flavours. Robust coffee and hints of dried fig deepn the depth of flavours.
Kamiki Intense – This is an exclusive version of Kamiki, aged longer in cedar casks for more intense taste lovers.
Demure aromas of freshly cut wood and button mushrooms are decidedly earth-driven. Much more intense on the palate, the flavours explode with toasted tobacco, sweet cinnamon and background notes of cedar, finally finishing with roasted honey spiked grains.
Kamiki Sakura – Kamiki is the first whiskey brand in the world with a Japanese Sakura Tree and cedar cask finish. On the nose, it brings ripe banana, candied chestnuts, cinnamon and hints of pine. There is a distinct warming woodiness, combined with sandalwood and gentle spice, with sweet cherries cutting through, leading to a floral spring-like finish.

The Umiki Story
Umiki is the world’s first ocean fused whisky brand finished in Japanese pine barrels. This unique production technique also gave the name to UMIKI – Ocean tree whisky whereby “UMI” means “OCEAN and “KI” means “TREE” in Japanese.
Our Whiskey
To honor the life-giving ocean and the long-living pine tree that graces coasts of Japan, we blended pure desalinated ocean water with ocean side distilled Japanese malt whiskies and imported grain whiskies after finishing our curation in Japanese pine barrels.
The process of UMIKI gives an exceptional smoothness to our whisky with sea-breeze on the nose, rounded floral taste on the palate and a soothing freshness in the finish.

The Minoki Story
Minoki is the world’s first Japanese coral-filtered rum. The story of Minoki is based on a Japanese legend. Legend has it that the first ruler of Japan descended from an Ocean Princess – dragon living in a palace made of corals. Inspired by this story, the brand finished the finest Japanese and Pacific rums in Mizunara Casks and later filtered through bleached and washed ashore Japanese corals.

Our Rum
Inspired by the legend, Minoki finished the finest Japanese and Pacific rums in Mizunara – Japanese Oak Casks before filtering through washed ashore and bleached Japanese corals to create a perfectly smooth blend with hints of Japanese tropical fruits on the nose and spiced vanilla in the finish.
Drawing inspiration from this legend, they brand named our rum, Minoki – Ocean Princess and embodied to our design the mythical princess, dragon and Fuji-yama, the symbol of Japan.
Our Products
Minoki Yoshino Sugi Cask Finished (8 years old) – Minoki blended eight years oak barrel-aged, Japanese and Pacific rums. We later finished the blend in Yoshino Sugi-Japanese Cedar casks before filtering through washed ashore and bleached Japanese corals to create a truly exceptional blend with hints of Japanese cedar on the nose and green tea in the finish.

Minoki Sakura Cask Finished (12 years old) – We blended twelve years oak barrel-aged, Japanese and Pacific rums. We later finished the blend in Sakura -Japanese Cherry Tree casks before filtering through washed ashore and bleached Japanese corals to create a truly exceptional blend with hints of Sakura blossoms on the nose and zest of berries in the finish.

Our Impact
Known as the rainforests of the ocean, coral reefs are essential for life under water. Today, they are in decline due to environmental stress and need our help. To protect and restore the coral reefs around the world, we are committed to donating a portion of our earnings and raising awareness through the lifetime of Minoki.
